Speedup Shutdown in Vista

To enable fast shutdown open the registry editor:

2. go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control
3. Double click “WaitToKillServiceTimeout”
4. Change the default value from 12000 to 2000
5. Done

Open Notebpad, and copy paste below said script.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management]

[HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop]

Now save the file as Fix.reg  then double click fix.reg file and merge it to the registry.

Then restart the computer.
